On June 10, 2021, the 2^nd Skills And Activities Month of School-Enterprise Exchange Competition was held at Dongguan Technician College. Sanyou Lianzhong Group, has attended and participated in this competition as sponsor.

In order to thoroughly implement the "Dongguan of Talent" strategy and "Made-in-Dongguan 2025" plan, accelerate the training of highly skilled talents, guide teachers and students of various vocational colleges in learning of new knowledge and digging into new technologies to achieve success by skills, as well as create “a city of talents”, Dongguan Technician College has invited enterprises of school-enterprise cooperation and other colleges to participate in the competition and exchange activities. Taking the Skill Festival of the College as an opportunity, the College has brought enterprises and colleges together to hold a school-enterprise skill competition.

The purpose of this competition is to encourage modern technicians who engage in manufacturing, to actively participate in the skill competition, so as to base themselves upon their jobs to learn theories, delve into technologies, master skills, enhance their sense of responsibility and comprehensively improve their overall quality. Training and learning can be promoted through competitions, and thus promotion for all participants can be achieved.

The main purpose of the competition is to investigate whether the participants could measure basic elements, such as geometric shape and position accuracy as well as surface quality of parts, with the corresponding measuring equipment in accordance with the requirements of the drawings. The processing equipment and measuring instruments used during this competition are provided by the Training Center of School of Intelligent Manufacturing of the College, and for the programming software, CAXA CNC Lathe, CAXA Manufacturing Engineer, and Mastercam2017 Chinese version are used. Zeiss CMM is used for testing during the competition. The models of machines used during the competition are as follows.

The judge panel for this competition consists of members of the society and professional teachers from participating colleges. All colleges can arrange judges and participants to participate in the competition according to its actual situations. The time of the competition is June 10 to June 11. The competition site is at Dongguan Technician College (6 Zhijiao Road, Hengli Town, Dongguan City).

The competition rules are as follows:

Each participant shall participate individually, and a maximum of 2 participants from each unit is allowed to participate in each event.

Assessment of results: This competition consists of skill operation examination. The topic setting and contents of skill operation examination are borrowed from those of WorldSkills Competition, to which relevant new knowledge, new technologies, new equipment, new skills, etc. are added, combined with teaching contents of processing technologies of mechanical products. They are closely related to the actual production in order to examine the comprehensive ability of the operators of this professional post. (1) Competition results are determined by the skill operation examination. (2) The participants' results of skill operation examination are calculated by hundred-mark system. (3) The ranking of an individual in the competition is determined according to the individual's total score. For individuals with the same total score, the individual with the highest score in the skill operation competition will be given first; if the individuals have the same score in the skill operation examination, the individual with the shorter time in the skill operation competition will be given first; if who is given first is still not determinable, the same ranking will be given to the individuals. In addition, the awards set up in this competition are given as commendations in paper and material rewards, with the first prize accounting for 10%, the second prize 20%, as well as several third prizes. At the same time, a memorial award for participation in the competition is set up, and a material reward for the memorial award will be given to the instructors.
